Last week I did a “Caz”. This is my husband’s affectionate name for me when thing just go wrong…..
I was all ready to leave the house. Packed my nappy bag, had my phone, wallet, keys and the garbage hanging off the stroller handle so I can dispose of it on the way out.
I was then in Coles trying to navigate the crazy people there on a Friday. As I swerved to get out of someone’s way I realised I still had the purple garbage hanging off the stroller!!!!
Oh my god….
There was a moment of “how did this happen???” closely followed by “how the hell do I get rid of this discreetly before I run into someone I know and would have to explain”!
I looked around, paid for my items and quickly exited Coles. I was trying to rack my brain on where there would be a large garbage bin on the main street….then I saw it.
A bin across the road that did not seem to be full. I crossed the road and then tried to cleverly (or not so cleverly as the case may be!) look like everything was normal and move up close and then quickly picked up the garbage and dropped it into the bin like it was a normal everyday thing.
I am sure some people in the cafes across the street must have seen me – a crazy mother dropping her rubbish down the main street! Honestly I would have died if anyone saw me. And now I share this with everyone on the internet – not sure what my rationale is here……
I have always done embarrassing things but I do feel since I have had a child they seem to have become more frequent and have kicked up a level.
Do you also have extended baby brain post birth? Is this a syndrome? Make me feel better by sharing something you have done – pleeeassse!
