Baby Bumkins Wipes were gifted to Mamma Raj for review
All opinions (and crazy antics) are my own.
The Wipe. A parent’s best friend.
We have 2 kids under 2 so we go through wipes in the hundreds. Actually if I am going to be really honest it is in the thousands.
We have tried cheap ones (which annoyingly seem to come out in multiples not a single sheet) and expensive ones that have a lovely aroma but you question whether it is worth the cost.
So there is a new wipe that just launched on the Australian market sold through IGA supermarkets nationally called Baby Bumkins.
I know what you are thinking. So what. It’s just a wipe.
It is designed to be gentle and kind to both you and your baby – free from nasties such as alcohol, soap and Methylisothiazolinone (MIT). I gave it a whirl and it was lovely to use and I think I even got a little smile!
However, it got me thinking, is the quality of a wipe JUST about how you use this on your baby? Am I really doing a review for you justice?
As any parent knows you WILL use them for many more things than just wiping a baby’s bottom or wiping sticky fingers! A wipe needs to be versatile and flexible in more ways than one.
So I thought I would give them a good road test. After all a wipe is much more than just a wipe.
1. Cleaning your keyboard
3. Cleaning fingerprints from photo frames
4. Remove stains from carpet, clothing and upholstery
5. Tissue substitute
6. Clean the 6. outside of the fridge
7. Wipe down the kids toys
8. Shine shoes
9. Wiping down restaurant tables, play tables, highchairs and shopping trolleys
10. Cleaning off marker
On a more serious note, Baby Bumkins were gentle and soft and pretty durable really! However at the same time being incredibly soft and gentle.
They use only the gentlest of dermatologically tested ingredients, and you won’t find the harmful Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) in any of their products which is great for our kids who often get eczema. They come out in single sheets (hooray!!) and certainly has passed the Mamma Raj roadtest. Best of all they are at an affordable price ($3.99 RRP for a pack of 80 and $9.99 RRP for a pack of 3).
The best way to look after those little precious people in your life – and everything else!
I’m sure there are many more uses – bring it on? Tell me what you use your wipes for? What do you look for in a wipe? Have you heard of MIT?
